It's beeen a great week for getting enterprise moving in and around Newport this week.
Tuesday was the Town Team meeting at Cosy Hall, where a number of Newport based businesses, including Daisy Chain, Henshalls and The Book Nook got together to begin to devise an action plan for the future of the town's shopping area.
Wednesday was WiRE day, at Harper Adams, where Women in Rural Enterprises held their monthly meeting, and we heard from All About Newport and a number of new ventures about to be launched in TF10.
Thursday's Farmers Market was the largest for some time, with a number of interesting products on sale and a growing number of shoppers.
And on Friday, we were able to formally announce the opening in November of our Pop-Up Shop and information centre on the corner of High Street and Wellington Road which will house up to 15 businesses showcasing products with a local or wider Shropshire connection, as well as an information point for all that's going on in TF10.
